Go Ahead and Grow!
At its most basic level, living the Christian life comes down to one thing: growing as a disciple of Jesus. A disciple is one who practices following Jesus Christ—becoming like him in all we think, say, and do, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to be the very presence of Christ in a lost and broken world.

Go ahead and grow!

Drive Like a Christian?
Jesus gave us the Great Commission in Matthew 28: “Go and make disciples.” That is our goal as Jesus’ followers. How does that change the way we live? How does it affect our driving, our shopping, our banking, and the way we spend our time?

Study Disciples and learn more about how we should live everyday. We will learn more about the joys and challenges of being disciples in our worship services, wrestle with these ideas in our small groups, and spend time focusing on them at home in our daily devotions. More resources are available at www.growdisciples.org.

So will we answer that question about driving? You’ll only find out if you come!

Grow Disciples
“Nondiscipleship is ‘the elephant in the church.’ What feeds that elephant and keeps it strong is the absence of effectual programs of training that enable (God’s) people to do what Jesus said in a regular and efficient manner.” (Dallas Willard, The Divine Conspiracy)

Jesus calls us to “make disciples.” And that’s what we’re trying to do—with small groups, worship, adult education programs, Sunday school, sermons, and midweek programs, to name a few. But Dallas Willard has a point. Discipleship is an assignment from Jesus himself.

To follow Jesus we need an intentional disciple-making program. Disciples is that program. Itprovides a comprehensive, sustained approach to growing in faith. This fall we will

Together we can take another step in our path of lifelong Christian discipleship.
